Whoa... cliché title, but I have an excuse, the cold weather has also frozen my creativity :D. (If you do not like this excuse has always, complaints on a postcard :giggle:.

Anyway yeah, an interesting conversation with a friend the other day, guessing spurred on by all the awards taking place just now, she asked me what my favourites/bests were in the last twelve months or so.

Now I chuckled inwardly thinking easy... but after film it gets very tricky ^^;. So a qualification, film and album/whatever else like those, HAS to have been released within the last twelve months, but books and anything else you want to add don't have to have been published in the year, you just have to have read/etc. them this year.

I was thankful, because when I thought about books and whatever else she threw at me, I was really struggling with stuff from 2008.

But yeah, anyway, I'm not going to rattle off my picks unless someone asks. However, I thought quite interesting to see what everyone else would pick, to get a gauge on the other deviants. :D

So please feel free to share!

I didn't think he would do it, Lara's records will stand for decades most likely, if anyone breaks them it will be Jayawardena or Smith.

As for part two, I don't know how he's done it, but I'm inclined to blame the one-eyed Scottish idiot at number 10 :P. Or they are just a terrible, terrible team haha.

Having said that about England, they're turning up the quality a bit now... either that or the Windies are just crap all of a sudden :P Shame the Ashes are still on Sky!
